Who is eligible to receive our services?

Anyone in the UW community is eligible to receive mental health and counseling services from our clinic. The convenient campus location, the competitive fees, the evening hours, and the high caliber of our staff make our clinic a desirable option.

At the same time, our clinic is not the best resource for all problems and situations. We provide services in keeping with our goals, and within the business hours, structure and staffing of our clinic.

We do not provide services for those needing:

  • substance-abuse treatment,
  • day treatment,
  • the availability of 24-hour back-up, or
  • for those whose treatment has been mandated by the legal system or an employer.

In these instances we will make appropriate referrals.
